Biography

Josh Hunt joined the training team at Brevity Fitness in 2013 and is excited to be coaching now at JFive Crossfit! Josh has been a committed CrossFitter for over 9 years now. In December 2012, Josh obtained his CrossFit Olympic Lifting Certificate. Josh is a police officer and former SWAT team member who strives to maintain elite athletic status in his work and workouts. His experience and knowledge with our programming makes him an excellent coach. His drive and determination makes him a fantastic motivator for our athletes.

Favorite thing about coaching?
I love watching someone push themselves beyond their self-imposed limitations or comfort zone and realizing they are capable of far more!
First CrossFit WOD & when?
I started CrossFit in about 2010 and believe my first WOD was Helen.

Ease in to it. No matter your past physical training routine, CrossFit is a beast like no another and will demand your respect.

Tell us one thing about yourself not related to CrossFit?
I enjoy reading books in my downtime. I prefer Civil War and WWII era time frames.
