Biography

I started Crossfit in March of 2014 after a few friends of mine from church kept bugging me to try it. I didn’t think I would like it and was only willing to try it to shut them up and because I had gotten really out of shape. So, my plan was to only go three times a week but before long I was going 5 – 6 times per week. After growing up wrestling my whole life I had always wanted to try to find something else to do for the competitive desire in me but nothing worked. Crossfit has provided that for me because it is just like wrestling because you are out there on your own grinding through it and it’s all on how bad you want it. I started coming to J5 in the fall of 2015 and my Crossfit journey took a new turn and I have loved being at J5 ever since.
